Serving Suggestion
I made butternut squash soup for lunch, but not before I introduced the squash to its cousin, Pumpkin.
Actually, the oven-roasted squash and onion,whizzed up in the blender with some chicken stock and served up with crispy bacon was not much appreciated by the kids. The girls begged for their share of bacon to be put between slices of bread, then they left the soup and asked what was for pudding.
Guy never got to see his share of bacon as he wasn't home in time. Sorry about that, Guy.
There is plenty of soup left over to freeze, funnily enough.
Any tips on what I can add to make it nicer?
