Flying high!

So, last night I gave Paul his birthday present, a tissot watch, over a glass of champagne. Then we headed down to our complimentary bar for a beer...i knew full well that his best friend and wife were arriving to join us for dinner! Hee hee!! He was rather surprised! We went out and had a great meal with our lovely companions.

This morning we went for a swim before breakfast...the latter being another monster affair of delicious food! Then we packed the car and started driving to Durham Tees Flight Aviation Training Centre...I had booked Paul an acrobatic flight experience!! He loved it, being given the controls to fly this little tiny plane and then being taken on loop-the-loops and rolls!! He came back with a smile! This is him about to get in the plane...it looks so small beneath him!

The drive home took us from pure blue skies to misty views, but it was nice to get back, unpacked and collect the dogs. Yummy salmon dinner, Paul has just ironed my shirts (yeah!) and now we are settled and ready for bedtime! Back to the early routine, it'll be a shock!!
