Striking academics

I stopped by the picket line at Southampton university today - my old place of work - to support the strike by academic staff who are having their pensions threatened, which will result in some younger academics losing £10,000 from their pensions a year. It’s a national strike so going on across the UK, the biggest strike among academics there has been and feelings are running high. Lots of students at Southampton seem to be supportive.
