Synchronised Big Feather

It was another lovely morning despite the heavier cloud.  The air was still and the cloud formations striking.  This, however, is the formation that I'll be remembering today.  I heard them first and, just as they crescendoed overhead, they flew out of the cloud for a few moments before disappearing again.

I think they're whooper swans - you can just see hints of yellow on their bills.

They won't be winning any medals in the Synchronised Big Feather event with that little hiccup in the middle but they won my heart, for sure.
