I was down at the hide nice and early today, about 9am but when I arrived a father and daughter had beaten me to it. The girl looked to be about thirteen and is already a very accomplished photographer; although I've not seen them before they're regular visitors to the hide and in fact travel the length and breadth of Yorkshire visiting other nature reserves. Being half term they're making the most of it, and when I left at 11:30am after I'd stopped being able to feel my fingers and toes they were still there. Jack keeps telling me the weather is about to get colder - I'm hoping he's wrong.
Thank you for the response to yesterday's shots of the abbey, it's very much appreciated, and I hope you'll all have a good weekend.
