Woodland walk

Molly and I bumped into Henry and his owner on this morning's walk. They were really pleased to see each other and so we took them down to the woods for a good sniff around and play.
This tree came down over the path a couple of months ago in one of the big storms. It's being supported by the branch of another tree on the left but I have no doubt they will remove it completely at some point.
They have been doing a lot of work recently. We came across the log in the extra which has been cut horizontally into several pieces and separated out for drying. We wondered if they might be going to use it to make table tops.
