at the end of the World.

Full day bus tour of Lagos and Sagres with a bunch of lovely people from Gloster.

Our guide had a great interest in the rich history of Portuguese exploration (as do I) and we got the full story from Henry the Navigator to Vasco to Christopher and how Portugal was involved.

Today I saw

The Slave Market Museum in Lagos
The Church of St Anthony
The surfers off Sagres (wow)
The amazing rock formations of Southern Portugal
Cape Saint Vincent and that coastline.

I had a great day in the company of such friendly fun english people all from Gloster (I know that spelling is wrong but at least they didn’t have to spell Dun Laoghaire ha!) You can just make my shadow out bottom right hand corner

Home tomorrow where my whatsapp moles are telling me it’s going to snow in Dublin this weekend

Back to work Monday but it was pay day today .... yes !!!
