Bullfinches

Another one that I’ve been struggling with but only for two days this time.

So many elements that can go wrong - and they did!!!! Wiped my collagraph plate with wet wipes and have finally realised that that’s what’s being making the ink very sticky and unmanageable. This has happened before and I thought it was the varnish I was using. Have experimented with lots of different varnishes with no success. It’s the wet wipes!

Then on to paper. Tried different paper. Went back to my normal paper and it worked.

A couple of other tweaks and it all came together. A couple of adjustments still to make and it’ll be sorted.
