Bressay UHA 2018
A chilly breeze all day and night, but it's been dry, with some sunny spells.
I've had the day off work, and up early to get on with the day. It started with going down to mam's to help her with invitations. The afternoon was spent with peerie Brian, and getting the foundation and floor laid for the new garden shed. Can't wait for it to be finished. More walkies with Sammy, and then headed to Bressay for their Up Helly Aa. Feet up for the night.
Two Up Helly Aa's tonight, Cullivoe and Bressay, so can't manage both! Jarl Tam Christie is in charge here, and a fine looking squad too. A breezy night for the torches, but atleast it stayed dry for the procession. Just four more to go, and then Viking season is over! Hope they all have a great night tonight. Taken on the Bressay waterfront.
