Trying for Spring

Rob and I are still suffering from the latest strain of flu. The worst thing has been wasting quite a good week of weather when we should have been gardening. The second worst thing is having absolutely zero sense of taste or smell. This has made food completely unwelcome, drinks unpalatable and this lovely Dapne is wasting her gorgeous scent so far as I am concerned, though hopefully the bees will enjoy.
I ventured out to Jane to try and do a little glass work thinking I felt better, but by the time I got home it was obviously a mistake and I had to spend the evening wrapped in a blanket. So boring!
