It's surprising how brave the birds get when it's freezing and you suddenly become the best source of food. This female blackbird was very interested in the work I was doing today.

Although it was -3.5° to start with it was another glorious day to be working outside. Too cold for any pruning but some weeding, emptying a compost heap and securing some supports to level a sloping path kept me busy.

Fish and chips with poorly RF ended the day nicely. Get well soon lovely lady.
