Light and Shadows

I was at Sanctuary Pond this morning - it was lovely, I had it to myself.  We have made a big step towards Autumn over the last few days and it was noticeable that the sun is lower in the sky when the rays struck through a gap in the trees creating a path down the bank and into the duck pond, making it sparkle. The rest was still in the shadows. Is it just me or does the two round shadowy shapes in the bank look like a Taniwha 's eyes? ( Water monster of Maori legend)
