Flower Friday

These silk flowers are part of an arrangement which sits in our family room, and is very precious to me. They were given to me almost 13 years ago by my good friend E. when my Dad died - such a beautiful and appropriate gift, as my Dad was a really keen gardener. So whenever I look at them they remind me of Mum and Dad and their beautiful garden and Ellen and her long-standing and faithful friendship.
It was another grey wet day, so another day for the gym for exercise. Then at lunchtime I had a hair appointment - I was glad to get that done, I’d let it get a bit on the long side. This evening a chat with our daughter Jen in Salt Lake City, then dinner out at an Italian restaurant.
