Sunset at the Basin
Dropped Darcey off at the train station tonight just as the sun was about to set so once we had said our farewells and she headed back to Aberdeen we dashed back to the house for me to get my camera so I could catch the sunset. It was wonderful watching the sun go down from the new bridge at the station. I was one of half a dozen people taking photographs - I wonder if there were any other blippers? It was lovely watching the geese coming in to land and other birds skimming the water looking for insects. And the sky changed every few seconds. A magical end to the weekend. Moments like this make life so wonderful despite all the rubbish.
