Yewbarrow
Woke up this morning to the brightest of bright blue skies. This was the summer that we never had. Stopping off on the shores of Wasdale, Yewbarrow was catching the sun with the Screes casting a shadow on the water. Great Gable rises up at the head of the valley. As is the tradition after the dinner, Joss leads a walk with the dogs up over Buckbarrow and back to Greendale before folk head for home. Always a joy to be on the fells, but in these conditions the heart sings. Again too many shots to choose from, but this is a bit of a classic. Counting down the days before heading for other mountains in the sun. Hope you've all had a great weekend : )
