Mint sauce spoon
I was hoping to go into the office, today, but the Minx reckons I'll still be infectious, so I worked from home, which did facilitate a couple of naps and also meant that no one had to endure the honking nose-blows and protracted coughing fits.
Mooching around the kitchen, whilst making a coffee, I saw this spoon. It is a mint sauce spoon, which was given to me by IntoTheHills for Christmas, a nod to his correct identification of my 'coffee spoon' earlier in the year.
When he gave it to me, I laughed and said thanks, and thought that it was a typically thoughtful gift. And today I experienced that same knowledge but this time more in my heart than my head. Funny how often that happens: I'll thank someone for something but only later do I... internalise that gratitude.
