Happy Return

Whooper Swan
On my visit east i took the opportunity to visit my good friend Graham(1). We had an afternoon birding at Hogganfield Loch and just before leaving noticed two Whooper Swans. The first sighting of these migrants for both of us this autumn/winter. We celebrated seeing them, along with many more birds, with a fish supper for tea! A great day out.
