still preparing for the forthcoming 'ice age' that the media would have us believe is about to hit from tomorrow onwards!

Been a beautiful spring day though so far and have managed to venture out in the garden for some essential pruning jobs with a mug of tea by my side! Planted some irises in pots and had forgotten about them until i saw this pretty bloom!

Was going to listen to football on the radio this afternoon but my team - southend united - have had their match postponed due to a frozen pitch in Oldham, so I'm listening to 80's tunes instead and catching up on some reading!
