Towering

It is the most beautiful of days and it is a Saturday so I have been able to get out and enjoy it! I had my breakfast looking out over the garden, then did a quick bit of knitting - starting a scarf using a new stitch I have been practicing. Then I went up to my allotment to dig over the beds (the soil was a bit frozen), then prune my raspberry canes and dig up some parsnips and carrots. I stopped several times to drink some hot tea to warm up my hands and bask in the warm sunshine. Heaven! Hopefully I'll have time to make some parsnip soup over the weekend.
