Vanity

Weather forecast was for snow, ice and freezing temperatures. In fact, it was about 13, sunny and all in all a gorgeous day! They are saying snow and ice and freezing temperatures will arrive tomorrow.... we shall see! In the meantime, I took advantage of the mild weather for a walk along the river and was over the moon with the many birds I saw: herons, ducks, a grebe, cormorants, two lively kingfishers chasing each other, seagulls and pigeons! I discovered pigeons are quite vain, once they understand you’re not dangerous!
The extra is a heron who thought he was completely camouflaged against the bank!
