Off to a good home

This is the back of fellow blipper Treshnish 's 4x4.   

She was visiting today to take away just over half the boxes of books from my old study which I have been very happy to give to the new community library being set up in Dervaig on Mull.

Argyll & Bute Council withdrew the library van on the island last year , despite considerable local opposition particularly as they also dispensed with the school librarian at the same time.

A group of concerned residents have now got together and launched a community venture in the Dervaig Hall and, fortuitously, I found out about it just as I as wondering what to do with the bulk of my books, collected over the years, which I could not move to my new study.

A perfect match ...and next week the remaining 15 boxes will be on their way too plus some more from other Glendaruel residents.   I am very much looking forward to seeing them all  in situ sometime later in the year.
