Footbridge

This is the new footbridge over the A45 and links Rushden Lakes to Crown Park retail area. Without this, pedestrian shoppers would have to brave the A45 dual carriageway – I don’t think so. The nearest access point to the bridge is Waitrose and it seems they take a very dim view of people using their car park and walking over the bridge to The Lakes – although why anyone would do that is beyond me as there are numerous parking places on site!
