One Of My Heroes 55/365

Photo journalists like Don McCullin, Philip Jones Griffiths and Tim Page, who experienced front line action in Vietnam and other conflicts inspired me to want to become a war photographer. My dad’s copies of Time magazine in the Seventies featured a lot of their work. I imagine I’d have run a mile under fire but I still wish I’d been there.
Forty years later, I sell toasters, shampoo and clothing for a living. Nothing very exciting. How sad.
