Red Velvet Cake

My first red velvet cake. I’m not sure how a chocolate cake can be so red in recipe pictures, I’ve used a whole tube of colouring just to get this, it did taste good though.

H’s birthday celebrations continued today when her best friend arranged a surprise day out, they’ve been on the Severn Valley Railway to Arley and Bridgnorth. They were very lucky it was so sunny and took the edge off the freezing temperature.
