Art and Scottish Witchcraft

This afternoon former student and teacher were reunited when artist Karen Strang was in conversation with Sandy Moffat, former Head of Painting at Glasgow School of Art at Karen’s exhibition in Glasgow.
 
Before an audience in the Lillie gallery they discussed Karen’s powerful work dealing with Scottish witchcraft.
 
It’s a challenging exhibition which confronts our history and its treatment of women.
