Free Flight with parrots in NL

It was very interesting! Although I won’t do this with my birds (they are to old to learn too) I am very interested in this. If you are addicted to parrots such meetings are some where you still can learn from. Arjan Arian Paans told more about Free Flight, different styles, which bird suitable for free flight, indoor recall training, clickertraining & free flight and how the Free Flight Academy works.
Jan van Arkel, the macaw expert here in the Netherlands, told us more about breeding macaws for free flight use, socialisation of the birds, handrearing and the changes of the law on that point, and about the health aspects caused by free flight.
Last but not least a demonstration outside with their birds. Tried to take pics of flying macaws, but my my… that isn’t my speciality ROFLOL!
