Henry Cecil making his way from the paddock to the course to watch his beautiful Frankel win his last race.
Frank, who left school age 15 to work as an apprentice jockey in Newmarket, took us on a pilgrimage to Ascot to see Frankel in the flesh.
The atmosphere ,with 32000 people all willing the same horse to win , was amazing. The affection for Frankel came in cacophonous waves from the moment he entered the paddock til the moment he left the winners enclosure. The greatest swell of warmth though was saved for Henry Cecil .
I nearly blipped a shot of Edgar wearing the winning goggles which were thrown into the crowd....to his huge delight.
Frank, for one day, was the happiest man on the planet....and I nearly blipped him looking a bit of a dandy in his new suit !
