JOY

The joy of actually being able to land back in DFW after rather too many days waiting for the weather to clear. It was even a little touch and go this morning as we made our arrangements at the airport in Lubbock the wind got up to gusts of 40 knots and even when the coast was clear at the other end we had to take off in a 30 knot wind and 12 kt crosswind. But after a rather bumpy ride for the first hour we eventually hit smooth air and this was the view of the runway as we landed - and no I didn’t take this one - my professional photographer did the honors while I concentrated on the landing!
