New Heights

Eldest was 9 today.

He celebrated with 5 friends with a trip to an indoor climbing centre in a converted church - lots of fun, although we did discover that eldest does have a healthy dislike of really high heights. He was happy until he got about half way up, refused point blank to abseil but enjoyed the traversing wall. At least thats one of the boys I don't have to worry about becoming an adrenalin junkie!

Followed up with pizza - he bagged a fine stash of sweets, money and itunes vouchers to go with his new ipod.

Tiddler meanwhile was on his first Beaver sleepover - and I thought six 8/9 year olds was enough - imagine 25 hours with twelve 6/7 year olds! You just can't have admiration enough for those that give up their time to help out at Scouts.
