Artistic Freestyle

Team Crow strutted their stuff today at PNW AOG stadium in the Artistic Freestyle Competition, taking 2 gold medals and 1 silver. The three judges for the event are shown in Extras.  It's difficult to see but they are actually holding scorecards - 8.5, 8.5 and 9.0.  Excellent marks for Kevin Crow in this event.

Team Junco turned in a last-minute stellar performance in the Flower Pot Balance event.  They're very talented and are definite crowd-pleasers.   

Team Squirrel finally made an appearance looking only slightly apologetic for their cavalier attitude toward the AOG in general.  They were taking some flak for their intrusion onto the course during the Women's Parallel Giant Slalom Heat in snowboarding.  An unnamed squirrel narrowly missed certain death when he ran into the path of the Austrian snowboarder, Daniela Ulbing, in PyeongChang as reported by NBC News. The incident is under investigation and Team Squirrel's participation in future games could be in jeopardy.
