NZ - Day 15
We left a windy Wanaka to drive to Te Anau. We knew the forecast wasn’t good and the rain hit an hour before we arrived. It was difficult to keep the car straight the wind was blowing so hard. We arrived at our B and B and spent the afternoon in the dry and ventured out for a meal this evening. A local couple showed us an article on their phone that said there had been 8.5 inches of rain not far away and they had had to airlift people out. It’s an area we are supposed to be going on our cruise on Tuesday. This is a drab shot of the local lake, it’s forecast to be much better tomorrow.
