Mount Freycinet

Alarm for 5:30 to begin my run at 6. With at least 30km to go, I had estimated it'd take 4-5hrs at a good pace. Gorgeous sunrise in Wineglass Bay and not too warm either (actually quite chilly!). Climbed up to Mount Graham and then through the saddle to Mount Freycinet. Despite knowing what the view was going to look like, I was still very much in awe, it's no surprise it's such an iconic picture! Really enjoyable run, 2 geocaches and back before lunch, fantastic.
The circuit normally takes walkers 2-3 days, so when I passed a couple at 9:15 am - they embarking on their 2nd day - they looked quite puzzled how I could be where I was, at that time, with only a 8L rucksack!
