Jewel in The Crown

 Poppy and I went into Cambridge and had a successful shopping trip and a nice lunch together. It felt good to have some quality time with her, she's such a little gem.

The Accelerants were playing at the crown at a friends 50th birthday party (drunk bloke with Elvis glasses on his head) . We knew that it would be a tough gig as it's always harder when you're not playing to Accelerants fans and I imagine most of the people there had never seen them before. The pub was open to the public and packed from one end to the other. The boys managed to win over the crowd who, by the 2nd half, were dancing, clapping and singing along.
Our friends were at another party in the village but came down for the 2nd set, which was great.
