Circling

A beautiful sunny morning so I walked down to the coast and along for several miles.  It was still quiet, just a few walkers and runners.  The sea was right out so the mud flats were filled with geese.  Every so often something would disturb them and they would fly up into the sky and do a few loops before they came down to land again.  They were quite a spectacle against the blue sky, and with all the noise they make calling to one another!  In Extras, the sea wall with it bright yellow lichen - such a cheerful sight in February.
