And I most certainly was well fed this morning, as this was waiting for me as I stepped out of the shower. I did consider it fitting to get dressed before sitting at the table to it, so dutifully applied clothing.

There are some people in your life who will always be there, no matter what. You don't have to see them all the time, phone calls can be sporadic and emails brief. However it's a real testament to the level of friendship you have when you can just catch up after several years and then carry on where you left off.
