Phone transplant

H kills technology. If the machines rise against us, mankind’s best hope will be H.

She has killed cameras, phones, cybernetic assassins...

She once killed a camera by dropping it, with pinpoint precision, into a glass of water.

While she was home at Xmas, she dropped her current phone which now has a smashed screen, a ropy battery and no “home” button. So, scenting an upgrade, I spent the morning swapping the brains, memories and SIM cards of our phones so that she now has my perfectly-functioning 5S (with new battery!) and I have her wreck. It was especially tricky navigating to install the virtual “home” button without being able to use the “home” button.

Got it all done in time to take her to the station for a party in that London.

I’ll now buy a newer phone from eBay.
