Catkins

Our Sunday walk with our daughter Jess took us past this sight earlier on today. I've not done very much with this shot except to crop it.  So, yes, the sky really was that amazing blue colour and the catkins seemed to glow in contrast, particularly when everything else seems so brown and dormant in comparison.
