First Cowslip 2018

Continuing on Firsts from yesterday  -  this must be the earliest one of my Cowslips has ever appeared - the last time I recorded one was on 27 March 2016 - see HERE!  There's quite a wind today so they were waving about a bit resulting in a rather blurry shot.  I tried sheltering them from the wind but it didn't help. Just to make sure it wasn't my camera playing up I plucked a bloom and nestled it in the Hyacinth plant I am Spot Animating indoors  -  not a bad macro shot, thank goodness  -  see Extra.  Complete change in the weather today  - cold, cloudy, dark and doomy gloomy:-)
