Pigeon Pair

What a beautiful day we've had today, wall to wall sunshine and blue sky all day - if it wasn't for that cold northerly wind you'd think it was spring.

After sorting out a couple of kitchen cupboards this morning I spent three hours in the garden digging over a plot that I can't decide whether to lay to lawn or use as a border for shrubs and perennial flowers.   I was kept company by a cheeky little Robin who was happy to take the worms and bugs as I unearthed them, but as soon as I got the camera out he vanished!  

As I was putting the camera back indoors I spotted these two pigeons on the bird bath and thought how the picture showed their markings off quite nicely.
