A Gold Medal Yet Never Participated

Here you see the Team Canada Geese UK on their way home from a journey to  a venue  they never reached.!

The above team, known in UK as Castlefield Geese  have trained for the last three years for these games.All raised in UK like generations before them.
Misinformed re the venue ,they took a bus to London where they were denied permission to leave the country &  told bluntly that as a 'none indigenous species' should they leave they would not be allowed back. So via the Thames & on foot they trudged to Parliament but all sides there were gabbling Brexit & nobody cared. Today this proud team, heads high, returns to Manchester. The trainer tells me a meeting with John & Mary is scheduled . If anyone can rant this case J and M will.
I had been invited to the Berlin closing ceremony flypast but when a courier crow brought me the above image I gave him some breakfast whilst writing my apologies to the organizing committee ( see extra). The weather was  beautiful & the golden sunset(nature's medal) especially for Branta canadensis UK....
