The cats are home...

... and Claude went straight out and caught a blackbird.  He brought her into the house, we got her off him and although she had lost quite a few feathers she seemed okay.  We took her to a local wildlife hospital, hopefully she will be well looked after and able to recover.

Needless to say the cats are glad to be home.
