Abandoned, thank goodness

I finished cutting down the big junipers.  Hard work with loppers.  I had just got the last of the branches and foliage off, and was standing looking at the two denuded trunks, when a neighbour arrived with his chainsaw and offered to slice the trunks off at the base.  He wouldn't take anything for his trouble, but I sent him away with a nice bottle of Malbec.  During the denuding I came across a long abandoned bird's nest, eggs and all, though only one intact,
