Hawk on the trail

Son and Husband took the dog for a walk and saw this hawk courting a lady.  Husband described him breaking twigs and making a nest - and then landing on her while she ate a squirrel.  He took me out to see if we could see them again - and here he was.  She was not around.

I have a few shots that are better technically - but this is a nice pose.  The other shots show him... ummm... thinking about his lady love.  I never thought about bird porn before.
