Better Days Ahead

We were in the little town of Goodland Florida today and stumbled across this old ship. It is called a Trimmer Ship and was built in 1935 for a Sears executive. Here is a youtube video from FDR's private home movies of the ship in it's hay day.

They misjudged the weight of the water logged hull and when it was removed from the water, it collapsed. I hope they have the time, heart and money to restore her.
