After the Rain.....

This beautiful rose in our garden may have appreciated the sometimes heavy rain we had all morning. It is called “Heavens Scent” and is certainly heavenly. It poured with rain from early morning when Maisie and I went out walking. I needed to wear a heavy-duty “Typhoon” raincoat whereas Maisie loved getting wet in the rain. I am hoping that areas so badly affected by the recent storms missed out on today’s downpour. It was sunny from this afternoon and I hope it stays that way for a while.
