...Mantis Religiosa or A Praying Mantis....

...I am very fond of Praying Mantis as my father first introduced me to one in Israel when I was a young girl, it sat praying on my arm and my dad photographed us, it looked huge on my arm then, but seeing one on the day of our departure from Mallorca I realised they actually are quite big!

...There really is something quite peaceful about watching them....pray....
