Fright Night

Halloween seems to be a big thing here in Vancouver, walking around the neighbourhood it's not unusual to come across gravestones in peoples gardens with plaster cast feet and hands appearing to crawl out! The shops are packed full of cobwebs, fangs, glow in the dark fangs, skeletons and witches hats, along with the 50 pack mini Hershey bars for trick and treaters. On Wednesday night we took a walk down Hastings to the PNE to see, and hear, Fright Night. I'm far too much of a chicken for this scary stuff, haunted houses and roller coasters. Apparently there's a farm you can go to in Abbotsford where there is a maize maze, complete with *fake* chainsaw nutters and zombies jumping out on you. I think I'll be safely hidden behind the sofa on the 31st...
