Waiting for a beastly shock

Yes the much heralded ‘Beast from the East’ (I ask you...) is apparently on approach. To be fair there have been a very few flakes of snow this morning and it isn’t warm ... but the sun is still shining and it’s not that windy. Let’s see what tonight brings.

My earliest daffodils are making an untimely, though very welcome, appearance. They’re a week later than in 2017. They’ve been snowed in many times in the past so I anticipate that they’ll survive the Beast.
