The Crack of Dawn...
I drive a delivery round that includes both towns and small country roads. So snow is a nightmare for me when it comes to work. Mr K woke me at 5:15 this morning with the words "it's snowed overnight like you've never seen before". I couldn't get back to sleep till the alarm at 6:00 after that. Had to see for myself and decide how much earlier to leave. But Mr K cleaned the car all ready for me to just drive straight off in it later (while the neighbours were all scraping and brushing), before he was picked up for work. Alfred and I went on our usual quick carry walk to a nearby bush for him to have his last minute pee before I left. Alfred is not into morning walks at all! This was the view from the bush he chose.
In extras, an old cattle barn on a farm (the one where the old farm dog lives - although I haven't seen him since Christmas time), and Henry the Tortoise who thought it couldn't get any worse (see yesterday's blip).
Roll on spring. I need it to warm up so the bluebells are out early - mid April when I'm next over, or I'll miss them...
