Magical morning

Setting off to walk this morning there was a flurry of snow which seemed to settle mainly on the footpaths through Goit Stock woods, giving them quite a magical quality.

I wanted to capture this so took several shots through the lower woods past the waterfalls but when we started to return through the top woods, away from the Beck, the sun came through lighting up the trees. Here you've got a combination of both.

We needed to get back fairly promptly as a group of us had decided to go and take a look at 'All Together Now' a community choir for Bingley, being launched this morning.
We had great fun singing about 6 songs described as 'through the decades'. All were familiar and fun to sing so I think we will be going back.

As one door closes another one opens!
